- Baron Riverdale
Baron Riverdale, of Sheffield in the County of York, is a title in the
Peerage of the United Kingdom . It was created in 1935 for the Sheffield steel manufacturer Arthur Balfour. He had already in 1929 been created a Baronet, of Sheffield in the County of York, in theBaronetage of the United Kingdom . As of 2007 the titles are held by his great-grandson, the third Baron, who succeeded his grandfather in 1998.As of 30 June 2006, the present holder of the barony has not successfully proven his succession to the baronetcy and is therefore not on the Official Roll of the Baronetage.
