Robert Lyle Morris (Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, July 9, 1942–Edinburgh, UK, August 12, 2004) [James Randi, [http://randi.org/jr/081304permit.html#12 "In Conclusion..."] , "Swift: Online Newsletter of the JREF", 13 August, 2004.] was a noted parapsychologist and professor at the University of Edinburgh, where he was first holder of the Koestler Chair of Parapsychology. He received his doctorate from Duke University.
