Eurovision Song Contest 1989 , performed in Dutch by Ingeborg.The song was performed sixth on the night (following
Turkey 's Pan with "Bana Bana " and preceding theUnited Kingdom 'sLive Report with "Why Do I Always Get it Wrong? "). At the close of voting, it had received 13 points, placing 19th in a field of 22.The song is a love ballad, with Ingeborg explaining to her lover that she "never feel [s] lost" as a result of him, despite the titular wind.
It was succeeded as Belgian representative in the 1990 Contest by
Philippe Lafontaine singing "Macédomienne ".
