Harald Grenske (Grenski), of Norwegian king Olaf II, renowned asOlaf the Holy (995-1030, reigned 1015 to 1028).From her second marriage to
Sigurd Syr , she became the mother of another Norwegian king, Harald III, famous in the "Heimskringla " as Harald Hardråde (1015-1066, reigned 1047 to 1066). Åsta's father wasGudbrand Kula from Oplandene, according to the sagas. Åsta may have been baptised atRingerike byOlav Tryggvason , circa 998.Åsta and Sigurd Syr had the following children, according to the sagas:
