31 March ,1969 inLecce ) is a retired Italianfootball (soccer) player turned manager.He played for several clubs, including US Lecce, Cagliari, AS Roma, Inter Milan and SSC Napoli.
He played for the Italian national team, scoring two goals in eight matches, and was a participant at the
1998 FIFA World Cup .In 2006, soon after having successfully ended his studies at the Coverciano football coaching school, Moriero was appointed head coach of
Ivory Coast clubAfrica Sports .
