Information Systems Research (ISR)] is an academic journal that publishes original peer-reviewed research articles in the areas of Information Systems and Information Technology. Information Systems Research describes itself as:

Information Systems Research is published by the Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS), and was recently selected as one of the top 12 professional /academic journals by BusinessWeek. The current editor-in-chief of "Information Systems Research" is Vallabh Sambamurthy. Along with Management Information Systems Quarterly, Information Systems Research is widely regarded by IS/IT researchers as one of the two most prestigious journals in the information systems discipline.
