Savannah, Texas

Savannah is an unincorporated housing subdivision marketed by Huffines Communities just east of Denton in Denton County, Texas, United States. It is located entirely within the boundaries of Denton County Fresh Water Supply District #10.

According to the subdivision's marketing website, "the Commissioner's Court of Denton County authorized the creation of the District because Savannah is NOT located in a city. The District is a political subdivision of the State of Texas, and functions like a city."

The Subdivision of Savannah is unique due to the old Savannah Georiga southern stlye home with big porches and Victorian style architecture. The subdivision has a waterpark, tennis courts, covered basketball court as well as a lavish homeowner center with a state of the art workout and cardio center. Families and residents can be seen walking the trails and playing at the many parks and sport areas. Savannah is a community of volunteers that form committes that plan family events and keep the neighborhood safe .

Education

Savannah is served by the Denton Independent School District.
