Jack Snelling

Jack Snelling is an Australian politician who has been the sitting Labor member for the electoral district of Playford since 1997.

Prior to his election in to politics, Snelling was an electoral officer. At 33, he is the youngest member of the South Australian House of Assembly, and has held positions of Deputy Speaker and Chairman of Committees from April 2005 to March 2006.

The 2006 election saw Snelling increase his margin to 25.8%. He has since been given the position of Speaker in the House of Assembly.
