Publishers-Hall Syndicate

Publishers-Hall Syndicate was a newspaper syndicate.

Founded by Robert M. Hall, who was sole owner of Hall Syndicate, they sold comics (including Andy Capp and Dennis the Menace), columns, and serialized books to newspapers across he world.

After being known as Post-Hall Syndicate, it was later known as Publishers-Hall Syndicate. Columnist featured by Publishers-Hall Syndicate included Rowland Evans Jr., Joseph Kraft, and Sydney J. Harris.

John McMeel was assistant general manager and national sales director for the Publishers-Hall Syndicate when he began what would become Andrews McMeel Universal in 1970. [http://www.amuniversal.com/amu/AMU_History.htm Andrews McMeel Universal history.] ]
