La Tour-Maubourg is a station of the Paris Métro. It is named after the "Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg", which commemorates "Marquis Victor de Fay de la Tour-Maubourg" (1768-1850), who emigrated during the French Revolution, but returned to France to become a General under Napoleon I and Minister for War after the Restoration. He was also the Governor of Les Invalides from 1821 to 1830.

The station is located next to the Invalides.
