Y=80La Tour-Maubourg is a station of the
Paris Métro . It is named after the "Boulevard de la Tour-Maubourg", which commemorates "Marquis Victor de Fay de la Tour-Maubourg" (1768-1850), who emigrated during theFrench Revolution , but returned to France to become a General underNapoleon I and Minister for War after the Restoration. He was also the Governor ofLes Invalides from 1821 to 1830.The station is located next to the Invalides.
