Vadgam is a village in India, situated in Banaskantha district in northern Gujarat. Administratively, it is a Taluka. The population of the village around 8,000. The main business of the people is agriculture and dairy farming.

The main community of the village is Anjana Chaudhary Patel and Rajput. Vadgam is a Taluka Place. Vadgam is 15km away from palanpur the main city of the Banaskantha District.

Vadgam is situated in between the way of Kheralu - Palanpur. It is a commercial place for the surrounding villages such as Kodaram, Pilucha, Rupal, Gola, Parakhadi, Magarwada, Nandotra, Nanosana etc. The Vadgam taluka mainly comprises the population of Anjana Chaudhari and Rajputs. Anjana Chaudhari community is associated with farming and animal husbandry related activities. Vadgam is a buffer taluka between Banaskantha and Mehsana district.

Dairy husbandry,Agriculture and diamond cutting is the main business in village majority of the people are in dimond cutting and dairy husbandary business.
