MEPs for Ireland 1979–1984

This is a list of the 15 Members of the European Parliament for Ireland elected in the 1979 European Parliament election. They served in the 1979 to 1984 session.

Constituencies

Connacht-Ulster

³Kavanagh resigned on 7 July 1981 on becoming Minister for Labour and was replaced by Séamus Pattison on 9 July 1981. Pattison resigned on 15 December 1983 and was replaced by Justin Keating on 8 February 1984.

Munster

⁴Cronin resigned on 23 May 1984 but was not replaced.
⁵Desmond resigned on 7 July 1981 and was replaced by Seán Treacy on 9 July 1981.
