"Casper's Halloween Special" (aka Casper Saves Halloween) is a Halloween television special. This telefilm premiered on October 30,1979 and featured Casper the Friendly Ghost and the same cast as Casper and the Angels, produced by Hanna-Barbera and directed by Warner Brothers. This telefilm later aired on the Disney Channel along with "Raggedy Ann and Andy: The Pumpkin Who Couldn't Smile", Mr. Boogedy, Halloween is Grinch Night, Blackbeard's Ghost, The Canterville Ghost, Witch's Night Out,Halloween is Grinch Night, The Worst Witch, The Halloween That Almost Wasn't, and Disney's Halloween Treat/A Disney Halloween. In 1995, Universal Pictures released Casper in theaters. Fred Rogers of PBS series Mister Rogers' Neighborhood had a small cameo in the film's beginning.
