"Funkdafied" is the debut album by female rapper Da Brat. It was released in 1994 and sold platinum, making her the first female rapper to go platinum. Funkdafied debuted and peaked at number 11 on the Billboard 200, and topprd the Rap Charts. The album was released as an edited EP.

Album Information

This album established Da Brat as hardcore rapper due to its heavy street themes backed up by Jermaine Dupri's funk influenced production of the track. The album was well received by critics; as well as fans as it sold platinum. It is her strongest solo musical work.
