- Beauséjour, Marne
Beauséjour was a village in
France that was largely destroyed inWorld War I . It was part of the commune ofMinaucourt-le-Mesnil-lès-Hurlus (Marne ).Founded in 1820, it was the scene of historic fighting between the Germans, French, and English in 1914 and 1915. It was not rebuilt after the war. Today it is the site of historic markers. It has reappeared in the press largely because France's oldest man ever,
Maurice Floquet , fought at the battle and survived.References
