Porte de Clignancourt is a station of the Paris Métro, the northern terminus of line 4. It is situated in the 18th Arrondissement at coord|48.89778|N|2.34452|E|region:FR_type:landmark.

The station was opened in 1908. Clignancourt was an ancient hamlet that belonged to the abbey of Saint-Denis, and was annexed to Paris in 1860. The "porte" of Clignancourt was the gate of the fortifications protecting the hamlet.The Porte of Clignancourt is also one end of Route nationale 14, which links Paris to Rouen. The station lies just inside the city limits of Paris; to the north of the station is the commune of Saint-Ouen. Thus a short walk from the station is [http://www.parispuces.com/en/Default.asp Les Puces de Saint-Ouen] , a large flea market (coord|48.90372|N|2.3398|E|region:FR_type:landmark), and also the Cimetière de Saint-Ouen (coord|48.9074|N|2.34787|E|region:FR_type:landmark), a Roman Catholic cemetery associated with Joan of Arc.
