SEALNet (Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in the
Bay Area dedicated toyouth empowerment inSoutheast Asia . It was originally a program operated by students atStanford University . SEALNet was founded in 2004 at Stanford with the help of SALI, Southeast Asian Leadership Initiative, a non-profit organization that was founded to encourage development and youth leadership in Southeast Asia. In late 2006, SEALNet and SALI merged under the common name SEALNet.SEALNet's first project was Project
Vietnam 2005. PV05 brought computers to theHo Chi Minh City Communist Youth Union Language Training Center and trained teachers and students how to use the English learning software as well as working with the students to empower them to start their own leadership projects. In 2006, SEALNet operated service leadership projects inThailand (Saraburi ),Cambodia (Phnom Penh ), and returned to Vietnam (Da Nang ).In 2007, SEALNet is operating projects in Cambodia,
