Seoul toChuncheon inSouth Korea . The line is operated by theKorail . The name of the line came from "Gyeongseong" (meaning Seoul) and "Chuncheon". A frequent passenger service operates betweenCheongnyangni Station on theGyeongwon Line in eastern Seoul and Chuncheon.Many parts of the line are under construction for electrification and double-tracking. The part from
Seongbuk Station toToegyewon Station , will be removed and reconnected to theJungang Line by2009 .Chuncheon Station is temporarily closed and will reopen in
