Lower caption = UK cover for "ASAP""ASAP" is a pop/R&B song performed by former Australian pop groupBardot , and was the first single from their second album "Play It Like That " (2001). It was written and produced by Swedish production team Murlyn.History
"ASAP" was marked as a "comeback" for the group which had been out of the Australian media spotlight for a few months due to promotional and recording commitments in the
United Kingdom and is also notable for being their first recording as a four-piece (Katie Underwood left the group prior to its release). The new single presented the general music public with a more mature, sophisticated and confident Bardot. The fast tempo R&B track, about a partner's interfering mother, was produced by Swedish hit-makers Murlyn and provided the group with its second Top 5 ARIA hit and fourth gold single. "ASAP" was Bardot's second single in the UK, but failed to reach the Top 100.Music video
The music video was a major transformation image-wise for Bardot, presenting a sexier and more confident look. It features the four members in revealing, patchy black leather outfits while performing choreographed dance routines. A group of male dancers feature in several scenes. The editing of the video is very quick and intense, reflecting the style of the song.
