Japan eseanimation productionstudio that originated in the year1992 with seven animated adaptations of classic children's stories.Diane Eskenazi , producer and founder of Golden Films created the studio with the purpose of providing positive quality entertainment free ofviolence for youngchildren .Jack Olesker , writer for manyanimated film s and series, has also collaborated in the making of many of the studio's films as a script and story writer, including all of the original outputs of1992 . In the United States, the Golden Films productions were distributed by different departments of the
GoodTimes corporation:GoodTimes Home Video distributed the originalVHS releases in1992 andGoodTimes Entertainment years later released them on the newerDVD format in2002 and2003 , in a large collection of "Collectible Classics" that also included the animated outputs ofJetlag Productions and those of otheranimation studio s. GoodTimes' international departments released dubbed versions of the Golden Films movies in many countries, though sometimes, other companies did the distribution.
