Vevring is a village and former municipality in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. The village of Vevring is presently located in western Naustdal municipality with a population (2001) of 143 residents. History

Vevring was established as a municipality in 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). On 1 January 1964, the municipality was dissolved. The district of Steindal with 25 inhabitants was incorporated into Flora municipality and the area south of the Førdefjorden was incorporated into Askvoll. The rest of Vevring, with 439 inhabitants, became a part of Naustdal.
