Mevlana Halid-i Bagdadi

Halid-i Bagdadi, Halid Bagdadi, Mevlâna Khalid or al-Khalid (1777–1826), was the major Kurdish[1] shaykh in the chain of initiation of the Khalidi sub-order of the Naqshbandi.[2]

He was born in Shahrizur (present-day Iraq)[3], was an influential Ottoman mystic, who is believed by his followers to be capable of time travel. His best known books are Mecd-i Talid (Big Birth) and Sems'u Sumus (The Sun of All Suns).
