(1988)Sun And Steel is the sixth and final album released by
Iron Butterfly in 1975. The new lineup includes:Erik Brann ,Ron Bushy , Phil Kramer, and Bill DeMartinez. Sun and Steel explores a wider variety of styles than Scorching Beauty or any other Iron Butterfly album for that matter.. There are strong elements of Psychedelic Rock, heard on track one, and also strong elements of Progressive Rock which is very evident on "I'm Right, I'm Wrong." Sun and Steel is a first for Iron Butterfly in that Moogs, Mellotrons, Piano, and Organ are featured all on the same album and in many cases the same song.Track listing
