Rich DiSilvio (born 1957 in
New York , USA) is a new media developer, artist,author , and architectural designer. He is well noted for his surreal fantasy illustrations and he creates works in the role ofphotographer ,fine artist anddigital artist .Biography
After graduating college DiSilvio studied under Harold Stevenson, a protege of Norman Rockwell, at the The Stevenson Academy of Fine Arts [ [http://www.thestevensonacademy.com/alumni.asp thestevensonacademy.com - alumni] ] . With a background in industrial arts, DiSilvio first embarked upon a career in the construction industry, whereby he eventually founded Creative Design Contractors. He worked on projects in Long Island and Manhattan, New York during the booming 1980s.
In 1996 DiSilvio briefly returned to college. He subsequently founded Digital Vista, inc. Under the umbrella of Digital Vista, DiSilvio pioneered, programmed and developed the Autism Academy interactive software, a full spectrum of creative artwork for book publishers and the music and entertainment industries, fine art prints and giclees on canvas under DV Fine Art, and his most recent endeavor of book publishing under DV Books.
DiSilvio spent four and a half years writing "The Winds of Time: An Analytical Study of the Titans Who Shaped Western Civilization".When

Rich DiSilvio's illustrative work has adorned the projects of

DiSilvio has also created fantasy and sci-fi book covers, such as the Clark Ashton Smith series for Wildside Press, and his personal fine art prints andgiclee s on canvas that range from traditional/contemporary to ultra-surreal in style.Other Works

Western world in his magnum opus "The Winds of Time". This sprawling work is a chronological study of the titans that shaped Western history.
