Unique Development Studios (or UDS) was a computer and video game developer based in Norrköping and Gothenburg, Sweden. They wanted to find skilled and motivated programmers and artists to develop some great games for Microsoft Windows and video game consoles.

History

UDS was a Video Game development company founded in 1993 by Michael Brunnström and Peter Zetterberg. Their first game was Obsession in 1994, a pinball game for the Atari STE (later ported to the Amiga). They also released for the STE a game called SubStation in 1995, a first-person shooter similar to "Doom". Since then they became a developer for consoles and PC compatibles. In 2004 the company shut down, most likely due to a number of unsuccessful games that were released.
