Ira Sebastian Elliot (born March 21, 1963, in New York City) is the drummer of the NYC band Nada Surf. He was named after Ira Gershwin and Johan Sebastian Bach. [ [unreleased German video documentary, November/December 2005] ] He began playing the drums at 11, in his middle-school's band.

He also appeared in "Stoned", a 1980 ABC after school special starring Scott Baio.
