- DeCordova Museum
The DeCordova Museum and Sculpture Park is an art museum in
Lincoln, Massachusetts , founded in 1950. It is focused on modern and contemporary art, with a particular emphasis on American sculpture. In addition to an indoor gallery, studio art school, and function spaces, the museum includes a 35-acre park with approximately 75 outdoor sculptures and installations; these include a small but important permanent collection (including works bySol LeWitt ,Ursula von Rydingsvard ,Alexander Liberman , andNam June Paik ), prominent works on loan, and rotating installations of new work.Museum School
The Museum School at DeCordova has 75 instructors, and about 4,000 students enroll annually. In its curriculum there are 100 adult classes/workshops each term, 20–30 children's classes, and children's summer programs throughout July.
The facility includes seven studios for
