List of settlements in Northern Ireland

List of settlements in Northern Ireland

This list has been compiled from data published by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) based on the results of the 2001 census. The definition and boundaries of settlements came from the DOE Planning Service: settlements without a Settlement Planning Limit in March 2004 or with fewer than 50 inhabitants or 20 households are not included. The names of settlements are those used by the NISRA; settlements are classified according to Local Government District (LGD).
