Admission to the Faculty of Law is highly competitive; in 2005 approximately 1023 applicants competed for 80 regular seats, 15 special access seats and 5 Aboriginal seats available. For the regular category admission, LSAT is required, and the mean LSAT score in recent years has ranged between 161 and 165, whereas the mean undergraduate GPA has ranged from 3.4 to 3.68 on a 4.00 scale.
