Bret Lott

Bret Lott

Bret Lott is a United States author. Lott was originally from Los Angeles, California and went to school in the Northeastern United States. He taught creative writing at College of Charleston for eighteen years, where he was also writer-in-residence. He is currently the editor of the "Southern Review" at LSU until January, 2008, but returned to teaching English courses at the College of Charleston in Fall 2007. He lives in Charleston, South Carolina, and is currently awaiting the release of his new book, "Ancient Highway."
