We Are England

"We Are England" is a single released by British indie band Ricky on 12th June 2006 on the iTunes music store, and on CD on 19th June 2006. A charity single, proceeds are donated to the NSPCC.

Between June 2005 and March 2006, band members Jim and Gareth toured England, recording vocals from thousands of 11-16 year old children from a variety of social, racial and religious backgrounds.

The single reached Number 3 in the UK Indie Singles chart.
