Josh Max is an American
writer andmusician .He has been the on-and-off auto correspondent at the "New York Daily News " since 2000, most recently writing more than 200 feature articles for the paper in a single year (April 2007-April 2008).Max's articles have also appeared in the "
New York Times ", "Newsweek ",Conde Nast Portfolio ,New York Magazine ,Forbes.com ,Salon.com , and other local and national American magazines.Max was the senior writer for the "New York Daily News"' "Big Town, Big Heart" column during its run in 2006. He also contributed stories to a published collection of NY Daily News stories titled "Big Town Biography".
He is currently writing a memoir titled "Confessions of an Ex-Seeker," an account of his decades-long, world-wide quest for enlightenment.
Max is also a guitarist, pianist, bassist, singer and songwriter currently under contract with "
Music Sales Group ".Max is the grand-nephew of the songwriter
Al Hoffman . In 2008, he recorded a CD of the songwriter's material titled "The Maxes Sing Al Hoffman" and was subsequently signed to an exclusive publishing contract withMusic Sales Group .External links
