avant garde andexperimental music as well asindie music , and has has been featured in — or cited by — several notable publications. These include the "Chicago Reader ", the "New York Times ", the "East Bay Express ", the "Los Angeles Times ", among others.Bands which have been interviewed by the publication include
Monolake , Low, andThe Posies .Background
Hart was a college
music director and Hunt handled promotions for a college radio station when they discovered that aside from "The Wire", there was almost no media outlet foravant garde orexperimental music . Most of the publications geared towards the college radio community focused primarily on traditional indie rock and pop favorites, while neglecting adventurous music. Dusted was created to help fill that void.External links
