Trailer Park is a movie trailer post-production studio and advertising agency based in Hollywood, California. Trailer Park specializes in concepting and producing trailers, teasers, television spots, online campaigns and print ads.

Clients include such major motion picture studios and entertainment companies as 20th Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Lionsgate, ABC, Activision, Buena Vista Home Entertainment, Disney, New Line Cinema, Paramount, and Sony Computer Entertainment.

Recent Awards

Trailer Park received five awards at the second annual MI6 Awards show in May 2007, including the top “Overall Marketing Campaign” for Activision, Inc.’s "Tony Hawk's Project 8".

In June 2007, Trailer Park received four awards at the Eighth Annual Golden Trailer Awards, including Best Comedy for "Borat" (Twentieth Century Fox) and Best Animated/Family for "The Simpsons Movie" (Twentieth Century Fox).

Also in June 2007, Trailer Park led the agency category with four awards for four different movies at the 36th annual Key Art Awards, including Horror Trailers for "The Hills Have Eyes" (Searchlight Pictures), Action/Adventure TV Spots for "X-Men: The Last Stand" (20th Century Fox), and Animation A/V (Trailers & TV Spots) for "Cars" (Walt Disney Pictures).

Divisions

"Theatricall" provides creative services for theatrical movie releases: movie trailers, TV spots, digital marketing and print. All services are in-house, involving concepting, writing, editing, design, motion graphics,animation and music.

"Home Entertainment" provides creative services for all aspects of DVD releases. This includes digital marketing campaigns, trailers, and full print campaigns for Home Video. They also specialize in DVD menu navigation deisgn, extras and packaging.

"Digital Marketing" specializes in innovative web design and development, effective online advertising, exceptional application development, strategic user experience planning, intuitive interface design and seamless systems integration – for a wide array of clients consisting of theatrical, home video, television and cable networks, live entertainment and video game publishers.

"Video Games" provide creative services for the video gaming industry including digital marketing campaigns, printand packaging, TV spots, sizzle reels, and trailers."Television" offers creative services for network and cable television shows, made-for-TV movies and program launches.

"Print" creates marketing print materials for movies, television programs, gaming and live events in theaters, billboards, internet, newspapers and magazines.

"Live Entertainment" provides creative services to live theatre on a worldwide scale including Broadway, sporting events, and concerts.

History

Trailer Park was founded in 1994 by Tim Nett. Prior to that, Mr. Nett had worked at Aspect Ratio and New Wave Productions, as well as a freelance copywriter. Benedict Coulter joined in 1997 after 17 years at Kaleidoscope and 5 years at Aspect Ratio. Originally, Trailer Park specialized in comedy, but when Mr. Coulter joined the company branched into action and drama.

In February 2005, the Chicago, Illinois-based venture capital firm Lake Capital invested in Trailer Park. In December of that year, with another investment from Lake Capital, Trailer Park merged with Creative Domain, led by Joel Johnston and Neal Spector.

In July 2007, Trailer Park merged with Art Machine, a leading print design agency based in Culver City, CA. With this merger, the two form the largest single-source provider of diverse entertainment marketing services in Hollywood.¹
