"Aspidoras fuscoguttatus" is a tropical freshwater fish belonging to the Corydoradinae sub-family of the Callichthyidae family. It originates in inland waters in South America, and is found in the upper Paraná River basin in Brazil and Peru. It was originally described by Nijssen & Isbrücker in 1976.

The fish will grow in length up to 4 centimeters (1.5 inches). It lives in a tropical climate in water with a 5.5–6.8 pH, a water hardness of 12 dGH, and a temperature range of 22 to 25 °C (72 to 77 °F). It feeds on worms, benthic crustaceans, insects, and plant matter. It lays eggs in dense vegetation and adults do not guard the eggs.
