Chris Conrad Born June 30, 1970
Fort Lauderdale, FloridaChristopher Andrew "Chris" Conrad (born June 30, 1970) is an American actor, known for playing Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation. He should not be confused with fellow actor Christian Conrad (son of Robert Conrad of Wild Wild West fame).

Biography
Early life
Born and raised the third out of four brothers, Conrad excelled early at sports and comedy. During his sophomore year of high school, St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, also attended by other future actors, Scott C. Roe and Billy Crudup. Conrad and his younger brother Mike won the Florida's Funniest Man, which gave them a chance to perform at the Improv in NYC.[citation needed]
Enrolled with Florida State University, where his two older brothers already studied. As an avid joker, Chris started working for the campus radio while exploring the college drama class. Discouraged by the seriousness of the class, Chris dropped out but was later persuaded by his former drama teacher to return to acting. Continuing to Chicago, where his older brother Steven Conrad was studying at the Northeastern, Chris crammed in a year of studies at the Piven Theatre Workshop. Following that, he signed with an agent and landed his first acting role in the television movie, Mario and the Mob.[citation needed]
Acting career
After Steven Conrad sold off his script "Wrestling Ernest Hemingway" to Hollywood, Chris followed him out to the west coast, where he settled down. He played Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation, the sequel of Mortal Kombat (after Linden Ashby refused to reprise his role). But, his character was killed at the beginning of the film.
Married briefly in 1999, Chris Conrad is known as the humorous and muscular Young Prince Jason in Young Hercules, a FOX TV show, Chris returned to his native Florida to teach during a slope in his acting career, but returned to Hollywood and acting in 2006. He is currently the Bowflex leading man and guest stars on television on such shows as Bones and Criminal Minds. In 2008, he was seen in Portal and The Promotion.
