Splashmins Fun Park

Splashmins Fun Park and Resort is Guyana's ultimate Fun Park. It is located along the Soesdyke-Linden Highway and is currently Guyana's largest and fastest growing theme park. This park is truly Guyana's ultimate fun setting with amazing shows, pristine plant life and gorgeous beaches. The Park is built on some one hundred and sixty three acres of lush vegetation, amidst numerous species of flora and a variety of fauna which include spectacular bird life.

History

Guyana is a rapidly developing nation and in 1997 the government realized that they need a place to unite the people, a place where the people can have fun, and a place for people to socialize. Splasmins was also built to try to create racial harmony between the Afro-Guyanese and Indo-Guyanese. Construction for this fun park began in 1997. After three years of construction the park was opened to the people in 2000, and ever since, it was a huge success in Guyana. Today the park is growing faster than ever.

The Park Today

Currently, the park consists of many beautiful beaches, palm lined walkways, numerous picnic areas and many water slides. Every one in Guyana loves Splashmins. Despite the age, Splashmins continues to attract vistitors of all races. The incentive of building the park is finally paying off.

Splashmins features a man made black water lake with white sandybeaches that overlooks Guyana 's natural vegetation, Benabs, food anddrinks bars, a gift shop, water rides and soon to come hotel andcamping facilities among other attractions.
