- Segerhammar Center for Faith and Culture
The Segerhammar Center for Faith and Culture is a program of
California Lutheran University . Established in 2001 in honor of the late Bishop Carl Segerhammar and his wife Ruth, the Center offers a framework for conversation between scholars, professionals, and communities of faith on issues of moral significance and social importance. It carries out its work through conferences, guest speakers, and smaller educational forums, most of which are held on the CLU campus, but which are occasionally held in other parts of the southwestern United States. Its annual Faith & Life Conference, usually held in March, focuses on a specific topic of general social and moral interest.=)
