Pierre Albarran (born 1894 in
West Indies , diedFebruary 23 ,1960 inParis ) was French auction andcontract bridge player and theoretist, andtennis player.As bridge player, he won the European Teams Championship in 1935, and represented France in 1935 in the first World Championships in New York. Among other conventions, he invented canapé approach and what will later become known as
Roman two suiters .During his tennis career, he played for France twice in
