St Hilda's College is a residential college affiliated with the University of Melbourne. It is home to 198 undergraduate students drawn from University of Melbourne, RMIT University, Australian Catholic University and the Victorian College of Pharmacy, as well as 8 resident tutors. Approximately 95% of college residents are from country Victoria or New South Wales.
History
St Hilda's College was founded in 1964 as a women's college associated with Queen's College. The college was named to commemorate Saint Hilda of Whitby, the first known woman educationalist in the United Kingdom. It became the University's first co-educational college in 1973.
