Grand Hôtel is a five star hotel in Stockholm Sweden. It was founded by Frenchman Jean-François Régis Cadier in 1872 and opened on 14 June 1874. Grand Hôtel is located next to the National Museum and opposite the Royal Palace and Old Town. The Parliament buildings and Royal Opera House are within view, the best shopping district is but five minutes away and the docks for boats to the archipelago are situated just 25-metres from the hotel. Since 1901, the Nobel Prize laureates and their families have all been guests at the hotel.

Grand Hôtel Stockholm has 332 rooms and 42 suites, 24 banquet and conference rooms, two restaurants, a bar and health club. One of the restaurants are managed by renowed Swedish chef Mathias Dahlgren. SPA will open in spring 2009. The hotel is the only swedish member of The Leading Hotels of the World and the only InterContinental hotel in Scandinavia.
