Callista Balko

Callista Jo Balko (born April 4, 1986) is an American softball player (catcher) for the 2006 and 2007 University of Arizona NCAA National Championship teams [http://www.arizonaathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=8387&SPID=528&DB_OEM_ID=1600&ATCLID=77413&Q_SEASON=2005] . Balko is also a World University Games member and an Olympic Camp Tryout Invitee. Balko was signed as an undrafted free agent by the National Pro Fastpitch team Washington Glory.

Born in Appleton, Wisconsin, Balko is a 2004 graduate of Canyon del Oro High School in the Tucson suburb of Oro Valley. Her parents are Scott and Vicki Balko.Some of her family lives in Wisconsin and some in Tucson,Arizona.
