John Campbell, 2nd Earl Cawdor

John Frederick Vaughan Campbell, 2nd Earl Cawdor (11 June 181729 March 1898) was the son of John Frederick Campbell, 1st Earl Cawdor and Lady Elizabeth Thynne. He married Sarah Mary Compton-Cavendish, daughter of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton-Cavendish and Sarah Fawkener, on 28 June 1842. There are six children of the couple:
*Lady Rachel Anne Georgina Campbell (d. 6 October 1906)
*Lady Victoria Alexandrina Elizabeth Campbell (d. 30 March 1909)
*Muriel Sarah Campbell (d. 30 September 1934)
*Frederick Archibald Vaughan Campbell, 3rd Earl Cawdor (1847–1911)
*Capt. Hon. Ronald George Elidor Campbell (1848–1879)
*Hon. Alexander Francis Henry Campbell (1855–1929)
