Baron Hemphill

Baron Hemphill, of Rathkenny and of Cashel in the County of Tipperary, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1906 for Charles Hare Hemphill, a lawyer and Liberal politician. As of 2007 the title is held by his great-grandson, the fifth Baron, who succeeded his father in 1957. In 1959 he assumed by deed poll the additional surname of Martyn, which was the maiden name of his father's mother.
