Haldor Topsoe is a Danish catalyst company. The company was founded in 1940 by Dr. Haldor Topsoe. The company also develops process technologyfor petroleum refining, ammonia production, and other industries.

Haldor Topsoe specialises in the production of heterogeneous catalysts and the design of process plants based on catalytic processes. Focus areas include the fertiliser industry, the chemical and petrochemical industries, and the energy sector (refineries and power plants).

The headquarters are located in Lyngby, a northern suburb of Copenhagen, Denmark. Manufacture of catalysts is carried out in Frederikssund, Denmark and in Houston, Texas, U.S.A. The company has offices or daughter companies in China, India, Japan, Russia, and the U.S.A.
