The School of Public and International Affairs, also referred to as SPIA, is a school within The University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, Georgia, United States.
History
The School opened in 2001 when the department of political science separated from the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. Since then, the School has added two additional departments (international affairs and public administration and policy). The Master of Public Administration program has been ranked third in the nation by "U.S. News and World Report".
