The U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Missouri encompass 50 counties in the eastern half of Missouri. The Court is based in Saint Louis but is divided into three divisions: Eastern (Saint Louis), Northern (Hannibal), and Southeastern (Cape Girardeau). The Hannibal office is unstaffed unless court is being held there. The St. Louis Clerk's Office is located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri in the Thomas F. Eagleton Courthouse.
