Gavin Pretor-Pinney

Gavin Pretor-Pinney is a British designer and author of the best-selling "The Cloudspotter's Guide" (ISBN 0-340-89589-6).

Pretor-Pinney attended Westminster School, Oxford, and Central St. Martins. He co-founded the magazine "The Idler", and founded the Cloud Appreciation Society in 2004.He grew up in West London and now also lives in Somerset
