Plot
The story opens up with the Doctor and Sam in the Tardis doing some maintenance when they are collected by a ship which holds a group of Thals. Whilst aboard this ship they discover an escape pod containing Davros. The story unveils a much larger plot as played out by the Supreme dalek as the Doctor meets with the Dalek Prime on the saved Planet Skaro.Since Davros's return the Dalek Prime has meet considerable resistance with a number of Davros Loyalists forming.Initiating a final civil war on Skaro the Dalek Prime has all the Loyalists revealed and "Exterminated". At the mean time he releases the Doctor to leave Skaro. Discovering a planted device on board the Tardis. A factory using Timelord like technology to make it bigger on the inside, this would allow the Daleks to survive incase the Dalek Prime failed. This was destroyed by the doctor and Davros was sentenced to execution.Just prior to his downfall he had implanted a SpiderDalek as a spy amongst the Dalek Primes Forces. Davros was placed in a disintegration chamber. His fate was left open when his data was either erased from the disintegrator or transmatted across space to safe location.
The Appearance in the Revived series would suggest the latter.
