Allen East High School is a four-year high school in Allen County, Ohio, U.S.A.. It was formed in the autumn of 1965 with the consolidation of the two eastern Allen County School Districts: Lafayette-Jackson and Auglaize-Local. It is the newest school in the county and is made up of a largely rural population.
The high school (grades 9–12) has, on average, between 270–300 students. The district is beginning to see a sharp rise in population due to the construction of its new buildings. The kindergarten class of 2006–2007 is the largest in the history of the school, with over 150 children.
As with many schools in Northwestern Ohio, Allen East constructed new school facilities to accommodate its growing population. Its outdated facilities, such as the former high school (constructed in 1931 as Lafayette High School), has been torn down. The new school re-opened for the 2007–2008 school year.
